night sky viewing

99% PURE is the shift from surface living to pattern living, and it changes what we mirror.

We’ve all done it.

We step outside at night, look up, and let the stars do what they always do >> make us feel small in the best way. The sky gives us a visible story: pinpricks of light, clean distances, a quiet sense that reality is vast… but readable, if we stare long enough.

And yet, even in that moment, we’re already being fooled by our own comfort.
Because what we can see, what we can ever see > is a thin surface layer. Light reaches us. That doesn’t mean light explains everything.
So here’s the real opening line, the one we don’t usually let into our day:
The total information of the universe has always been open to everyone…
but not in our usual words, lexicals, and symbols.
Not locked. Not hidden. Not reserved.
Open.
But translated through patterns, relationships, coherence, feedback > how one thing leans on another and changes it.
seeing patterns
Meanwhile, most of our daily vocabulary was built for smaller tasks: survival, status, speed. Naming objects. Winning arguments. Getting through the day.
So we do what humans always do when something is too large to translate:
We flatten it.
We shrink reality to fit the dictionary we already have.
We call that shrinkage “being realistic.”
And now we’re entering a new era à one that matters more than it looks like it does.
New language tokens are rising.
New concepts. New metaphors. New models. New tools that let us point at realities we used to feel but couldn’t clearly name.
Let’s not pretend that makes us fluent. Even now, these new tokens won’t capture more than a scintilla of the total information the universe holds.
But here’s the twist:
We don’t need to decode everything to stop living like we’re blind.
Because what we notice becomes what we mirror.
The visible 1% => the part we obsess over
Most days, we live like reality is whatever we can point at.
Whatever gets praised.
Whatever gets counted.
Whatever performs well.
The visible stuff.
The 1%.
And then we wonder why the world feels thin. Why “common” feels so ugly.
Here’s the part we avoid: when we dwell heavily on the highly praised visible 1% matter presented,  and ignore the “99% PURE” that is also fully us >> we start mirroring the smallest parts of ourselves.
That’s when this becomes normal:
  • cruelty
  • greed
  • prejudice
  • corruption
  • apathy
  • self-pity
  • envy
  • cowardice
Not because humans are hopeless. Because the 1% worldview trains us into scarcity. It turns life into a contest for scraps. It makes separation feel like truth.
A narrow world makes narrow souls.
The hidden 99% = the flood underneath the surface
below the surface
Modern science keeps revising itself; thesis after thesis, assumption after assumption >> trying to name what the cosmos is mostly made of. It’s mapped an astonishing amount. And still, the deepest majority remains unsettled.
That should humble us.
But it should also wake something up.
Because humans have never waited for perfect language to live meaningful lives.
shards
For thousands of years, individuals have relied on meaningful shards > fragments of signal pulled from the flood. Not the whole ocean. Just enough to steer.
Story. Pattern. Consequence. Insight. Warning. Wonder.
All of it was a way of translating reality before we had better words.
The universe has always laid information open for us ^
not as a neat textbook,
but as a constant flood, wave, surge, cascade.
And when we ignore that cascade, life becomes… repetitive.
The same mistake wearing different clothes.
The same missed opportunity disguised as “bad timing.”
The same shallow conflict replayed with new faces.
We call it bad luck. Often it’s just bad attention.
Here’s the dividing line:
1% vision dwellers inherit the world as it is.
99% PURE dwellers become originators +++ because they see what’s actually shaping outcomes.
Not just objects.
Relationships.
Not just events.
Patterns.
Not just what happened.
What’s happening underneath what happened.
And this is where the moment we’re living in becomes a gift.
Because for the first time in a long time, the universe didn’t change ++ our toolset did.
The new tools: how originators are made now
tools for originators
We don’t just have “more information” today.
We have more handles.
More ways to catch reality without flattening it into old categories.
New tokens. New lenses. New instruments. New collaborative intelligence. New ways of testing, iterating, simulating, sharing. We can take a shard and turn it into a map. We can take a pattern and turn it into a practice. We can take an insight and turn it into a design.
That’s what this era is offering:
Not omniscience.
Not certainty.
But agency.
The chance to stop being a consumer of the visible 1%
and become a designer inside the 99%.
To become the kind of person who doesn’t just react to the surface =
but shapes outcomes by understanding what the surface is sitting on.
Originators aren’t born with more talent.
They train their attention with better tools.
A short practice box: 99% PURE in 60 seconds
When something hits; conflict, fear, temptation, opportunity /> pause and run this:
1) What’s the 1%?
The loud fact. The surface story. The obvious headline.
2) What’s the 99%?
The incentive nobody names.
The fear under the anger.
The longing under the pride.
The pattern repeating.
The relationship shaping the outcome.
3) What would I do if connection is more real than separation?
One better question.
One softer sentence.
One brave refusal to perform the usual cruelty.
That’s the muscle.
Not mystical. Not perfect.
Just honest attention.
A toolbelt box +++ become an originator this week
Pick one from each line. Keep it simple. Do it daily.
  • Capture tool: notebook, voice memo, highlights, a “pattern log”
  • Clarity tool: one good question, one hard conversation, one honest reframe
  • Design tool: a small experiment, a new habit loop, a boundary, a schedule change
  • Sense-making tool: a diagram, a metaphor, a prompt, a model, a mentor, a community thread
Then ask: What did reality teach me when I stopped staring at the surface?
This is how we turn “meaningful shards” into meaningful lives.
The quiet turn ++ what’s been true for eons is showing up right now
This is the part that matters most, and it doesn’t shout.
The knowledge of how much we are “99% PURE,” particularly in this moment, isn’t arriving as a lecture. It’s arriving through exchanges. Through consequences. Through repetition. Through life handing us the same lesson until we learn to read what was always written there.
We are living in a time when new tokens will arise ++> still nowhere near enough to encompass the total information of the universe @? but enough to widen the keyhole.
Enough to change what we mirror.
Enough to make a person stop living like reality is only what can be seen.
Ending like a bell
So we return to the night sky.
The stars are still there, still offering their small, bright truth. But now we feel the larger ocean behind them >> the part we can’t easily name, the part we are made of too.
And the ending is simple, because the truth is simple:
The universe has always been open.
It’s our perception that’s been narrow.
We are not only what we can point at.
We are not only what gets praised.
We are not only the visible 1%.
We are 99% PURE ++ and with the tools arriving now, we don’t have to stay spectators.
new options
We can become designers.
Originators.
Builders of better “common.”
Because what we choose to notice…
is what we become.
“The universe has always been open: the only [?] is whether we’ll live like we can read it.”
